A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts and Audit trainee to join our busy practice in Fulham.

We are looking for a hard-working individual who is well presented, has excellent communication skills and can learn at a fast pace.

In return, we will be offering valuable on the job training and a ACCA training contract.

You will be involved in all aspects of the practice. We encourage our team to take a pro-active approach and liaise with clients directly and do as much as their technical ability allows them to.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

Process books and records for multiple clients

Preparing VAT Returns

Assisting Senior Accountants with the preparation of end of year accounts

Preparing working papers files

Preparing Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts

Assisting audit teams including attending stock takes

Prepare Personal Tax Returns along with Self Employment and Rental Accounts

Prepare Confirmation Statements and other documents for filing with Companies House

Assist admin team with tasks

Qualifications:

 Educated to degree standard is ideal or an ability to show an aptitude to learning and passing exams

Skills:

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills

Self-motivated

Ability to work on own initiative and manage workload

Excellent IT skills including good use of Excel

Personal pride to take responsibility and commitment to complete jobs in a time efficient manner

Dedication and ambition to progress within the company

Ability to work effectively under pressure and ensure deadlines are met.

Job Types: Full-time office based, Permanent

Remuneration: £17,000.00 - £25,000.00 per year + bonuses + ACCA training package + Private Healthcare* + company Mobile* (* - available after three years of service)
